Spirecut in Utrecht, Netherlands

From December 8. to 10, 2025, Spirecut participated in the HealthTech Investor Summit in Utrecht, one of Europe’sms for health innovation and investment. Over three days, our team engaged with founders, investors, and industry experts through pitching sessions, matchmaking, and discussions about funding and market access.

Being selected to present was an important step for Spirecut. It confirmed the relevance of our ultrasound guided incision free approach for carpal tunnel syndrome and trigger finger and highlighted growing interest from international partners in minimally invasive hand surgery.

In Utrecht, we presented our patented Sono Instruments as a way to treat these common conditions without an open incision, preserve surrounding tissues through real time ultrasound guidance, reduce post operative pain and recovery time, and enable procedures in ambulatory or office based settings. By combining precision instruments with imaging guided workflows, we aim to support healthcare systems facing rising procedure volumes and limited operating room capacity while offering patients a less invasive experience.

During the summit, organised by BIOVIA, we presented our clinical concept and first outcomes, discussed our business model, regulatory pathway and international market entry strategy, and explored collaborations for training, clinical studies and market access. The event provided a focused environment to test our value proposition and see how Spirecut can integrate into different care pathways and reimbursement schemes.

Our participation strengthened our European network and opened new conversations with investors, healthcare providers, surgeons and partners in training, imaging, digital health and data. We will build on the momentum created in Utrecht to advance these discussions. Spirecut remains committed to making minimally invasive, precise and reproducible hand surgery more accessible worldwide.
