We improve the outcome of trigger finger and carpal tunnel syndrome surgeries

We improve treatments for trigger finger and carpal tunnel syndrome, which affect one person in seven in their lifetimes.

Spirecut’s patented Sono-Instruments® are ultrasound-guided, and non-invasive. Surgeons achieve greater precision and safety, leading to better patient recovery.

Our Focus

Our focus is to improve the patients' outcomes by operations without skin incision : the Sono-Instruments to do the release are introduced through a tiny skin pin-hole, healed the next day. The day after the operation, the patients can wash their hand and resume their activities. Spirecut's techniques are ultra-minimally invasive, performed in an office under local anaesthetics and sonography guidance. No other instrument is needed than Spirecut's single-use sterile kit. Spirecut's first applications are two very frequent hand diseases, carpal tunnel surgery and trigger finger/thumb.

Our Name

SPIRE is the acronym of Swiss Percutaneous Instruments, allowing Rapid and Efficient Surgery. SPIRE evokes also the similarity of the conical shape of the instruments; CUT is a reminder that our instruments allow a quick and efficient release of thickened pathological tissues like the fingers’ annual pulleys or the transverse carpal ligament.
